Riley at One Year

This is one of my favorites. She's got the sweetest little face.
She's standing up all on her own now.

She's got two baby teeth on the bottom.
Love the double chin! :)

By the end, she was SO done taking pictures! haha

Riley gives the best kisses!
Her kisses are big, open-mouth, wet ones! And we love it!

Riley loves her Daddy.
And her Daddy loves Riley!

Ryan is such a fun Dad and Riley loves to play with him.
:)
  • Riley is sleeping 10-12 hours a night and taking two good naps a day (1-2 hours each).
  • She is the best eater and loves anything and everything. Her favorite foods are: avocados, yogurt, eggs, cheese, bananas, ice cream, and anything sweet! She is only nursing a little in the mornings and at night before bed.
  • Riley says Mama and Dada :)
  • She loves the swings at the park  more than anything!
  •  Riley started walking a few days after her first birthday and is getting better and faster every day.
  • She claps and waves all the time!
  • She has recently started doing superman arms where she holds them straight out in front of her and kinda shakes with enthusiasm. It's so funny! She gets excited and happy easily.
  • Riley colored on the wall for the first time...just pencil thankfully. She loves getting into everything!
  • She loves to take things out of the dishwasher and "help" mommy with the laundry by handing her one item at a time. Any time there is a pile she will pass one thing at a time to us and loves when we say "thank you" and she continues to keep passing one item at a time until the pile is gone.
  • Her favorite time of day is when Daddy comes home and we go outside to meet him half-way. She lunges out of my arms to greet her Dad. Then she will squeal with glee. She loves her Daddy!

Happy New Year!

I love this picture collage! It was my "best nine" photos on Instagram. I thought it wrapped up our year perfectly. 2015 was THE best year of my life! I seriously cried on New Years Eve because I was so sad to see 2015 come to a close. I just loved it so much and loved becoming a mom to my baby girl. I watched this clip that really helped me feel better because it teaches how we shouldn't look back but look forward to the future with faith and optimism. I am so grateful for my little family and for my beautiful baby girl that joined us this year. We are looking forward to all that 2016 has in store.
