A few fun things in San Francisco so far

We live right by the Iron Horse Trail which is a great walking/biking trail.
It's so nice to have a nice trail to take walks with Riley or go on a bike ride.
Nice sunglasses, Ry ;)
One of the main reasons we love where we live! We live in the blue skies and sunny weather.
Can you can see the fog that is settled all over San Francisco? So happy we live in the clear!
Saying bye bye to Daddy on his first day of work!
Ry's first day on the job! So proud of him!
I can finally use my bread maker again! It's been so fun unpacking our stuff that we haven't seen in a few months and getting to use stuff like that! I'm loving making yummy breads and Ryan is loving it too :)
Another good thing about living in San Francisco is visitors! Our friend Nate from ND came out for a business trip and we got to see him. Of course we went to Ghirardelli square!

Me and my man in SF

San Francisco has a huge flea market once a month on treasure island so we decided to go check it out one weekend. It was a lot of fun! Live music, tons of unique shopping, and food trucks galore!

As we drove to Treasure Island we kept thinking, "Do we seriously live here?!" It is so beautiful!

Dozens of food trucks! It was so fun!
Our first cronut! It was pretty delicious! And it wasn't your average cronut, it was filled with custard! Mmmmm
We also got some AMAZING Filipino food. At least I'm pretty sure that's where it was from. It was really good!
Riley's little face looks so sweet here.
Visiting Ryan in San Francisco. Such a cool city!
Downtown for lunch with Ryan and Riley

Riley visiting Daddy at work. It was fun seeing where Ryan worked and meeting some of Ryan's co-workers.

Riley is big enough to go in the cart now. She loves it for a few minutes but then she gets whiney and I usually I end up holding her for the last half of the trip while pushing the cart.
I'm so grateful I get to be this girl's momma. She makes me so happy!
Ryan is such an incredible father. He gets up early, commutes an hour to work, works hard all day, commutes an hour back, and always comes home happy and ready to play with his girl. He reads to her, holds her, gives her baths, whatever he can to spend time with Riley and play as much of a role as he can. He is so wonderful. Riley and I are very lucky to have him.

Riley loves books!

This was so cute. Riley loves to hear Daddy play the piano and the guitar.
There are a lot of bikers in our ward and Ryan has been out with them a few times.
His hair always looks so funny afterwards.
Gorgeous view from Ryan's bike ride to the top of Mount Diablo
The view from Ryan's bike ride.

Seriously. So gorgeous. I was in love with these pics from Ryan's bike ride.
This is hilarious. Riley was so interested in this broom. It went on for like 10 minutes. ha
This was the first time Riley watched a "baby show" Baby Einstein. She LOVED it. She was so glued to it haha it was pretty nice for me cause I got a lot done during that little show!

Happy Three Years!

Ryan and I have been married 3 years! I am so lucky to be married to such a wonderful man. I love you Ryan. Riley and I are so lucky to have you.

Ryan had to work so I wasn't able to see him during the day but he had flowers delivered to the apartment. It was the sweetest thing! I was so surprised! He also had some yummy Godiva chocolates delivered as well. It was so sweet and totally made me feel so loved and so special. I'm so lucky!
Ry had to work during the day but then when he came home we celebrated with dinner at Cheesecake Factory!

It was kinda different this year having our "romantic dinner date" with our baby too. haha That's what we get for not having family out here! ;) But Riley was super well behaved and let us have a nice date! Also, I think this picture is so sweet! I love how Riley is holding Ryan's hand. The sweetest thing.

Cheesecake Factory is ALWAYS a good idea. Ever had the avocado egg rolls? I could just die. Mmmmmm
My Sweetheart and I. Three Years. The BEST years.
So the server brought out this "free dessert" for us. It was super sweet but even more super LAME! It was a shot of whipped cream. We were like, "Wait. What?" (as we quickly scurry with our spoons through the shot glass) "Where's the? Wait. It's really just whipped cream? Seriously?" Oh well. Thanks for the complimentary whipped cream Cheesecake Factory! It was a nice thought :)
As we were leaving we walked past these mirrors and I made us stop to take a picture. Maybe I'm a lameo sappy one, but it reminded me of the eternity mirrors in the temple from when we were married three years ago. The sealer told us to look into the mirrors and see the generations that had brought us here and the future generations and how we would all be sealed together. Then three years later here we are celebrating that special day of when we were married and sealed forever and we just so happen to walk past these "eternity mirrors" at Cheesecake Factory! haha So yes, I made us take a picture.
The reason we could not get cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory....I had a special dessert waiting for us at home. A few years ago we got this incredible salted caramel chocolate cake at P.F. Changs. But guess what? Life is cruel sometimes. They DISCONTINUED it (shudder).
Well, I decided to surprise Ryan and try to recreate it for our anniversary.

I made a homemade salted caramel chocolate cake myself and OH. MY. GOSH. Was it ever so delicious? Oh yes. Why yes yes yes it most certainly was. I am amazing by the way.
I told Ryan that if he were a cake, he would be this one. So that pretty much tells you that this is the best cake ever.

Anyway, we had a wonderful anniversary! I absolutely love my husband. I am so grateful that we made the decision to marry each other. We really truly are best friends--with some pretty freakin' good benefits ;) I love you forever and ever Ry! Thanks for being the best husband I could ask for.

Happy Anniversary!
