Riley is one year old. HOW is that possible? 100% it was the fastest year of my life! The few weeks leading up to Riley's b-day was pretty emotional. I just couldn't believe that my baby--my teeny tiny 7lbs. 8 oz. baby that I swear was just born a couple months ago--was growing up faster than I imagined was possible. It really is an emotional thing! It's hard to see your baby go from a baby to a toddler in one quick year. But it is oh so fun as well. She is turning into such a fun and adventurous little girl. We love Riley with all of our hearts and are so grateful to have her in our family.
For Riley's birthday we invited some friends over for treats and to open her presents and of course for the cake smash! We had so much fun celebrating our precious angel.

| Riley liked the cake but didn't go as crazy as I thought she would...my regret is that I didn't do a chocolate cake! Riley is a chocolate lover just like her parents! |

| We decided to give Riley some Mudslide ice cream and that is when she went crazy. She would grab HUGE handfulls of ice cream with her whole fist and shove her whole hand in her mouth. It was hilarious. |
